Bridging The Gaps Ministries International

Our Vision

Our vision is that every believer become a disciple of Jesus Christ, lead a God centered life and take the Gospel to every person in the worldwide community. Our ministry includes Prayer, Ministry of the Living Word, Evangelism & Missions, Counseling & Healing, Social Involvement and Leadership Training.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to “Bridge The Gaps” between the Body of Christ and Jesus Christ. We are committed to making, teaching and sending disciples for Jesus Christ to the world by being a loving expression of His love and truth.

We are fulfilling this calling by: Being an "open-door" ministry without walls that welcomes all people in Jesus' name, because God loves everyone and so do we!

Responding to all hurting people and those in need by sharing what God has given us and helping them to learn more about Jesus’ love.

Supporting and helping families as we all endeavor to raise our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord in an unfriendly world.

Being a people who care about each other and who show it in practical ways.

Make Full Proof of Your Ministry

Make full proof of thy ministry!
2 Timothy 4:5

Intro: Paul instructed Timothy to do the work of an evangelist, and to make full proof of his ministry. What did Paul mean when he made this statement to Timothy? He is saying that being an evangelist or minister is one thing, but you must prove the words you speak, you write, the works that you perform. With what? The Word of God! There are many things we find necessary to prove, but a good example of proving is in the reconciliation of a bank statement. We must agree with the balance the bank shows, or we know there is an error some where. As an evangelist or minister, that which we preach, or teach must be in harmony with the Bible, the Word of God. I want to call to your attention a number of examples where I must prove what I am teaching, or preaching personally, with that of the printed page, the Word of God.

1. Belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. Where is the proof? (John 8:24). “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he ye shall die in your sins.”(Heb 11:6) “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him.”There’s your proof. Most of the world, with the exception of some agree with this proof.

2. Confessing Jesus Christ before men. (Matt 10:32) Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.” Need more proof? Much of the world’s population do not confess him, or believe that he is the Son of God. In making full proof of ones ministry, only the Word of God has the answer. We have no problem up to this point, by the religious world, Lets look further at proving our ministry.

3. Repentance.
At one time God winked at ignorance, but not any more. (Acts 17:30, Acts 2 :38) “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” More proof of ones ministry.

4. Baptism for the remission of sins.
To make full proof of my ministry, I must include Baptism, or none of the before going steps make any sense whatsoever. Salvation is in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. To reach the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ the proof is in obedience to the command of baptism as recorded in Romans 6:1-4, Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21. I have purposely not written out these verses, so that the reader, will investigate for themselves, the proof of Bible teaching.

These steps as recorded in Bible study are what we call the first principles of the oracles of God, (Heb 5:12) Books can be written from all the errors in misunderstanding religious subjects. One who teaches, preaches the Word of God, writes for religious publications, newspapers, had better be able to prove from the Word of God, every word they proclaim from the pulpit, the sanctuary, the class room, for God will hold them accountable. Teaching on topical subjects is where we meet most of our misunderstanding, most of our disagreement. I must as an evangelist, a preacher, a teacher of His word, must prove my words with the Word of God!

When will the religious world ever learn?
